William Clark Adams, Jr. (Hootie), age 83, of Maryville, formerly of Townsend, passed away April 18, 2020. He was a graduate of Townsend High School and retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. He was a member of Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church. Survived by wife of 63 years, Frances Shular Adams; son, Darryl Adams (Tammie); daughter, Elizabeth Farr; grandchildren, Adam Farr (Preslie), Tyler Adams (Alisha) and Tanner Adams; great-grandsons, Gatlin and Ryder Farr; brother-in-law, Jim Shular; brother, Ralph Adams (Brenda); sisters Joan Myers (Bernard), Anna Conner and Dawn Wheeler (Mike). Preceded in death by parents, Clark and Ressie Ingram Adams; brothers Harry, Floyd, Kern, and John Adams; sisters, June Cromwell and Joyce Cromwell. No services are planned at this time.
