The Odell Lafon scholarship was started at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church to support students to go to post High School education. It is named after a beloved former pastor, Odell Lafon. Scholarship support helps the students of Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church to move on to next steps with support from their congregation.
If you received a scholarship from the TUMC “Odell Lafon Silent Offering” fund, please consider emailing us a short bio telling when you received it, when and where you attended school, and a bit of personal information. We will run your bio in our bulletin on a 1st Sunday when we collect for the offering so that all can see how this fund has benefited many of our young people.
