NEW/ RECENT Happenings:

Worship Service Start Time is now 11:00AM –  Please come and worship with us!

On Sunday 2/04/24 we were blessed to hear the sermon and receive communion from Rev. Janice Keebler as our new interim pastor.  Please join us on future Sundays to participate in the joy of God’s message delivered by Rev. Janice Keebler.

On Sunday 1/28/24 we were blessed to hear a hopeful message from Rev. Susan Arnold from the Holston Conference of United Methodist Church.  Susan specializes in Congregation Development & Revitalization and plans to work with TUMC in its New Beginnings Initiative.  We thank Susan for traveling from the Tri-Cities area to support our church.

There will be a church-wide New Beginnings workshop on Sunday afternoon 3/04/24 that will help shape the future of TUMC.  Invitations will be sent to the home addresses of church members – Please RSVP as requested.    If you are new to TUMC or your address is not up to date, please contact Jodi Savage (865-684-6858).

If unable to attend in-person, we offer online services (usually live-streamed at 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings) at https://www.youtube.com/@tuckaleecheeumc9780).

8:30 Service:  Based on input from early service worshipers, they will continue to meet at 8:30 AM.  Worship will consist of fellowship and viewing of the previous week’s recorded 11:00 AM service.

Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church hosts people from all over the world, especially during the summer months when there are people coming from all over the world to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We welcome you to come as you are, drop in, and experience the warmth that the family of God offers to you!

Tuckaleechee UMC offers hope to people around the world. We have supported missions close to home through Second Harvest Food distributions, benevolence support for those in need of relief, Alcoholics Anonymous, Bible studies, and the Walk to Emmaus program. In addition, Tuckaleechee UMC offers a group called “Temple Keepers” which helps people who wish to be supported and held accountable on their way to healthier living in their spirit, mind, and body.

We have also supported the Holston United Methodist Home for Children in Greeneville, Tennessee, which offers homes to children who otherwise might not have stable homes. We have supported missions in Latvia, Liberia, Zimbabwe, South Sudan, and other parts of the United States.

Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church is part of the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church.
