NEW/ RECENT Happenings:

09/08/24 – We welcomed Rev. Brenda Carroll and her first sermon with us at TUMC.  Brenda’s delivered an important message for our lives regarding FORGIVENESS!

Brenda comes to us with a long and effective career serving and making disciples of Christ.  Brenda and her husband Larry Carroll served as Co-Pastors at Maryville First United Methodist Church.  Brenda has also served as District Superintendent of the Chattanooga District.  Brenda has two adult children and resides in North Knoxville where she and Larry can dote on their grandchildren.  Please join us in welcoming Brenda and Larry to our church in the mountains!

09/01/24 – We had a wonderful message about spreading the gospel once we leave the confines of the church delivered by our guest preacher, Rev. Mike Sluder from the Holston Conference.  Thank You Mike for serving TUMC!

Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church hosts people from all over the world, especially during the summer months when there are people coming from all over the world to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We welcome you to come as you are, drop in, and experience the warmth that the family of God offers to you!

Tuckaleechee UMC offers hope to people around the world. We have supported missions close to home through Second Harvest Food distributions, benevolence support for those in need of relief, Alcoholics Anonymous, Bible studies, and the Walk to Emmaus program. In addition, Tuckaleechee UMC offers a group called “Temple Keepers” which helps people who wish to be supported and held accountable on their way to healthier living in their spirit, mind, and body.

We have also supported the Holston United Methodist Home for Children in Greeneville, Tennessee, which offers homes to children who otherwise might not have stable homes. We have supported missions in Latvia, Liberia, Zimbabwe, South Sudan, and other parts of the United States.
